Controlling the growth of Candida albicans yeast is the main objective for treating the disease caused by the said microorganism. The primary factors of the yeast’s rapid growth inside the intestinal tract of humans are the changes that occur within the body that destroys Candida yeast’s natural enemies which are Lactobacilli and Acidophilus bacteria.
This delicate balance is disrupted and allows the yeast to multiply out of control, producing toxic substances that can cause allergic reactions and severe complications such as kidney failure and brain damage. It is actually very difficult to determine if a person is suffering from systemic Candida infection because its symptoms are very similar to other diseases. Below are the following steps in controlling it.
The first step is conducting a battery of tests that will prove its presence on a particular individual. The patient will be asked to answer questions of Self Tests regarding suspected symptoms of systemic Candida infection which are described below.
Self Test Number One – This is listing the most probable factors that may have caused Candida yeast to multiply out of control. The patient is required to answer Yes or No. The questions are if that person has taken an antibiotic drug for a certain period of time, has experienced reproductive organ problems, has taken steroid medications, and lastly has had fungal diseases of the skin as well as allergies. There are a number of points given for any Yes answer. All these points are added after he/she has finished answering the questionnaire. There is a corresponding conclusion based on the total number of points.
Self Test Number Two – The first part of this test is to determine the frequency and severity of the general symptoms being described ranging from fatigue to abdominal pains. The second part of this test is another set of questionnaires on the frequency of localized signs of infection. The patient is required to give small/large points depending on the persistence and severity of symptoms. The total number of points is added and also has a corresponding conclusion from the doctor.
The second step is safely destroying the Candida organism. Since the said yeast is anaerobic, it cannot survive in the presence of concentrated oxygen and other gases. Thus, the patient will undergo gas therapy. A special gas called 35% Food Grade Hydrogen Peroxide is administered to the patient. Hereinafter, an ounce of liquid oxygen is to be consumed by the patient three times a day on an empty stomach 3 hours after a meal. This therapy will last for 4 to 6 weeks in a special treatment facility within a hospital. The Candida yeast will be killed in the process.
The third step is to introduce healthy bacteria into the digestive tract. Acidophilus and Lactobacilli are good bacteria that control or eliminate the Candida albicans yeasts in our intestines. The patient is advised to take high-quality multi-source Acidophilus capsules in order to restore the normal intestinal flora. The intake is 10 capsules once a day and should be continued for a period of 10 days. Another important thing that a patient should take note is to consume the said capsules in case of antibiotic treatment in order to prevent another Candida infection.
The fourth step is to rebuild and nurture the patient’s immune system. Nutrients nourish, stimulate, and keep it in optimum condition to prevent the prevalence of diseases. Mycelium mushroom extracts contain antioxidants that eliminate Candida-produced toxins. Other nutrients are Vitamin A & C, Zinc, and Pau D’Arco extracts. Lastly, the patient is advised to consume a low-sugar diet in order to avoid infection recurrence.
